Youth Athlete Of The Month Nov
The kids will have heard me say this almost every month, but Nov was genuinely the toughest choice so far - there has been so many stellar race performances, and big efforts in training from so many. This one goes to a youth athlete who can now officially call himself a triathlete having competed in the Asia Tri Cup. He's increased his training with more swimming sessions - working his way up quickly - watch out, it's Alban Modiano!
Adult Athlete Of The Month Oct
He's one of the most consistent athletes with his training out of all the adults. Racing and medalling 70.3, cycling tours, and always turning up to training with a smile. He's been training with 26 for many many years and we hope many more to come! Keep up the good work - Lobo Lee!
Adult Athlete Of The Month Nov
She travels further than anyone else to get to training - all the way from Peng Chau, and she's one of the most consistent athletes (when her alarm goes off). Always a great attitude, big smile, and plenty of food to share with the other athletes. It's Central tri relay star Shu Pu!

HKTRIA Re-registration 2024
It's time to renew your registration for the HKTRI association. Please do this in plenty of time - for your affiliated club please select South China Athletic Association. If you're planning to race in any TRIA races (Aquathlon, Duathlon, Triathlon) it is worth affiliating with the club - you will get discounted race entry, and pretty much save the extra within 1 race.

Stage 1 of getting our cycling programme back on track is coming! In Spring Term (2) we are back up at CIS tennis courts to get any interested youth athletes prepped for their first triathlon. Open to any youth athlete who has their own bike and wants to learn how to become a competent cyclist!

HKAAA 2024 Registrations
Watch your inbox and WhatsApp for the 2024 HKAAA registrations. We'll be aiming to get a lot more, especially youth, athletes registered and competing at the HKAAA track competitions for the coming year. Gigasport 10km
Another exciting Science Park based running race, can't get enough of that place. The Gigasport 10km! Only a couple of runners this time, both did ace. Well done Nicole, first time 10km, and Alex.

Adult athlete Shea McCort is now officially an Ironman, having completed the full distance in Arizona in November. Just shy of 13 hours, a great result considering the bike crash just before T2. He'll take a few weeks off before I start bothering him about the next one! Well done mate.

Watsons Athletic Club Champs Part 2
Another smashing weekend for Petra. This time winning both the 1500m and the 3km, as well as the U16 MVP for the competition. Scarlett Morrow followed Petra through the line in the 1500m taking the Silver medal. Well done girls!

One of the most epic races of the year - this time falling on the same weekend as the Central tri here in HK. Hopefully we can get a bigger showing at LPT next year! The guys who did go crushed it. Great individual and relay results. Special well done to Jeffrey for ripping apart a second pair of Nikes in a week just from the sheer power he puts into the ground on his run.
