Alexander Chan graduated from University of Melbourne in 2002 and worked in several large private practices in Melbourne before moving to Hong Kong in 2012. Alexander has an interest in spinal conditions, which led him to undertake a PhD from La Trobe University (Australia), with the thesis investigating the management of non-reducible discogenic low back pain. His PhD was part of the Specific Treatment of Problems of the Spine (STOPS) trials that has been presented at numerous international journals and conferences.
Alexander is the current physiotherapist for the Valley Rugby Football Club’s Premiership Men’s team. He has also been involved in elite sports in Hong Kong and Australia including VFL, Hong Kong Rugby 7s, Cricket Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Tennis teams.
